Michael has been teaching online at Trinity International University since January 2014. He is also the associate pastor at the Village Church of Lincolnshire, less than two miles away from Trinity’s main campus in Deerfield. He is responsible for the youth, adult education, and compassion ministries. Michael has been in pastoral ministry since May 2005, and was ordained in the EFCA on October 2009.
Michael has been married to his wife Londa since August 2002, and has two young girls.
Michael has completed eight classes towards a PhD in Educational Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is hoping to finish the degree by the end of 2017. His interests include human development, critical thinking and learning in adolescence, transformative learning theory, indigenous education, education and philosophy, religious education, the role of pastors as educators, and hermeneutics and education.
